Clothing

  • Take clothing that is suitable for the season always bearing in mind that it can rain, even in the summer.
  • Remember to use a cap or hat to avoid direct sunlight on your head. This will prevent you from suffering from sunstroke and heatstroke and getting tired faster.
  • Use several layers of light clothing instead of a thick garment. A thin channel of hot air can circulate between the garments and your skin thus maintaining the temperature and preventing heat from escaping.
  • Use a hiking staff or stick. Not only does it help with dif cult terrain, it also prevents tendinitis.
